Essential Functions

  • Provide on-site inspection and documentation to ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the design and quality control manual developed by the manufacturer as well as company standards.

  • Be able to work with project management, engineers, suppliers and 3rd Party testing labs.

  • Familiarity with Solar module, inverter and combiner box, steel concerning various site issues, inconsistencies, and non-conformances.

  • Capable of reading and understanding shop drawings, mix designs, geotechnical reports, manuals, and engineered drawings.

  • Knowledge of reinforcement and concrete placement, product testing, module installation processes, and civil construction processes.

  • Knowledge of ATI and NexTracker systems.

  • Partner with Quality Engineer and Manager to ensure Standard Work Instructions are correct and are being followed properly during construction phases.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • Solar experience with tracker systems 2-3 years preferred.

  • Ability to read technical drawings, plan sets, blueprints.

  • Familiarity with MV and DC wiring and circuitry.

  • Experience with commissioning of utility solar experience preferred not required.

  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Salary commensurate with experience with weekly pay. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
