Edison Electric Institute Manager, State Regulatory Policy in Washington, District Of Columbia
The Edison Electric Institute (EEI), the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies, has an outstanding opportunity for Manager, State Regulatory Policy.
The Manager will be responsible to perform research, conduct analysis and synthesize information for both internal and external stakeholders on state legislative and regulatory policy initiatives. Will manage and work with a subscription service to track key state legislative and regulatory activities. Will assist in the development of policy positions, papers, comments, and other advocacy pieces working with rate and regulatory affairs committee. Will work closely with internal and external teams to identify, catalogue and/or produce a range of strategic products and services.
The successful applicant will have:
Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree helpful.
Minimum of 5 years in electric industry issues preferred.
Knowledge of the state economic regulation of investor-owned electric power industry, with an understanding of state structures and basic rate-making principles.
Excellent research and writing skills, and good interpersonal skills.
Exceptional analytical skills.
Team player a must.
