Edison Electric Institute Manager, Electric Transportation in Washington, District Of Columbia
The Edison Electric Institute (EEI), the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies, has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager, Electric Transportation.
The Manager is responsible for advancing electric transportation by building EEI’s capacity as a resource for EEI members in developing and implementing successful electric transportation programs including member engagement tools, managing work groups and related meetings, and producing resources that collect member activity and best practices on electric company programs. Will support EEI’s advocacy efforts to enact policies that will enable electric transportation growth. Will leverage stakeholder relationships to advance EEI member activity and policy objectives. Will expand EEI’s research and content production capabilities related to electric transportation.
The successful applicant will have:
Bachelor’s degree required. A technical-oriented degree such as engineering or economics preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully work across teams.
Experience conducting research and producing reports.
Demonstrated analytical and writing capabilities.
Some knowledge of the electric transportation market.
Some familiarity with electric utility industry preferred.
Experience/interest with public policy preferred.
Keen interest in learning on the job and taking on new responsibilities.
Strong collaborator with ability to also work independently.
