Leading the delivery of Distributed Generation services to enhance customer service and achieve compliance with all regulatory and legislative obligations;Supervising eleven (11) subordinates: one (1) Lead Analyst, one (1) Sr. Analyst, one (1) Associates Analyst; and six (6) Analysts; Managing a regional budget for internal resources and, as needed, external vendors and consultants hired to support relevant programs and services in effort to meet customer, legislative and regulatory expectations; Managing relevant technology process activities in order to achieve high productivity, low costs and efficient work practices and to ensure compliance with National Grid policies and objectives; Developing and maintaining effective relationship with Regulatory, Legal, Billing, Operations, Finance, Contracts, IT, Account Development, New Energy Solutions, jurisdictional teams and external vendors in order to facilitate communications, integrate work and ensure the successful delivery of Distributed Generation and Renewable Energy programs; Monitoring and controlling allocated human and material resources, maintaining financial and progress forecasting in order to ensure relevant technology programs are delivered according to schedule and within budget; Implementing, maintaining and monitoring governance and control around interconnection process, reporting and financials; Analyzing and evaluating developments in Distributed Generation and Renewable Energy technologies in order to identify impact of different scenarios on the business and strategies for integrating cost efficiency; Monitoring processes to regularly inspect quality levels including filed inspections, data entry, data validation, and internal audits to ensure quality standards are being met; Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives; Ensuring timely submittal of all annual reporting requirements and support rate case activities and other regulatory requests; Challenging existing processes, policies and procedures and continuously seek ways to enhance customer service and cost-effectiveness; and Providing technical guidance, support and coaching to others to increase knowledge and understanding of Distributed Generation programs and services.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering (or foreign equivalent degree), plus five (5) years of related experience w/in the utility industry in renewable energy field, including Interconnection Standards and policies in MA, RI, & NY; Distributed Generation policies; Energy Storage; and Project Management; Three (3) years must include experience with Program Management, GIS, CYMEDist, STORMS, Powerplan, EMS, SAP, iMAP; and One (1) year must include experience with Saleforce and Tableau. Occasional travel to meet with staff in Syracuse and Albany, generally once per month. Background checks may apply.
