National Grid is hiring a Lead Program Manager, Training for our Business Controls Department in Waltham, MA.
The Business Controls Department is a multi-skilled team that offers a wide range of business support services. It is not uncommon for each of our team members to be skilled in multiple often uncorrelated disciplines. This team supports the internal Gas Engineering Organization. The Lead Program Manager will work on initiatives that lean toward providing business solutions and training to Engineers in the Gas Organization.
Responsible for end to end design and delivery of Learning & Development solutions and programs
Researches, analyzes, creates and implements comprehensive training and development programs to enrich employees at all levels and contribute to professional growth and development
Conducts annual training and development needs assessment for the firm to address training needs and help build skills and capability. Brings forward innovative approaches and solutions
Establishes and oversees consistent processes to design and develop in-house training programs to best suit needs (e.g., includes online, classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning options)
Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media to encourage engagement across all levels of the firm
Oversees and contributes to the design and development of exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning
Establish an internal communications strategy, campaigns and calendar based on organizational objectives
Develop and maintain internal communications portal where all employees can self-service current and historical communications and content
Gather internal feedback continuously to update strategy and tactics
Ensure all communications are aligned, impactful and deliver a clear, consistent and focused message across the GSE Departments
Bachelor's degree preferred and 6+years' related work experience in L&D (Learning & Delivery) or Instructional Design
Experience with creation of programs, curating content, facilitating trainings, and implementing curriculums for development
Experience developing communications portals, visuals and emails that are engaging and compelling
Strong technical acumen and MS Office skills
Strong collaboration skills
Valid driver's license
