This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose The Designer is responsible for developing design drawings and performing design related activities for complex capital gas projects. Projects include gas gate stations, regulator stations, distribution mains and transmission mains. The majority of design work is mechanical, but does include the associated SCADA instrumentation and minor civil and electrical details. ## Key Accountabilities Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): + Assist project engineer in the development of detailed mechanical design for complex gas projects. Drawings include process and instrumentation diagrams, general layout, plan and profiles, fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and pipe support details + Prepare minor civil drawings for equipment foundations and buildings + Prepare material lists and provide information to support cost estimating ## Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required + Associates degree preferred + 2+ years of prior CAD experience required + 1+ years of gas design experience and knowledge of gas equipment preferred + American Design Drafting Association, AutoDesk and/or SolidWorks certifications preferred + Knowledge of Federal DOT, Massachusetts State Codes, and applicable industry codes/standards preferred + Valid driver’s license required ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
