Assistant Solar Program Manager-Sunlight Advantage

NJR Clean Energy Ventures, a division of New Jersey Resources, is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to assist in the development and execution of the residential solar business plan. Support internal and external stakeholders in day-to-day activities of the residential solar program. Implement process improvements and efficiencies to deliver superior value to contractors and customers, while monitoring activity and gathering data on residential solar markets.

Major Responsibilities: • Manage channel partner network to support sales and installation goals and continued program development; identify, onboard and train new partners in sales tools and customer expectations• Manage and communicate program updates to the Sunlight Advantage Program Manual• Develop and implement tactics to reduce program costs, improve returns and increase customer satisfaction using feedback from stakeholders; analyze program impacts using financial modeling• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for The Sunlight Advantage• Lead monthly Sunlight Advantage Working Group meetings with technical and customer care teams• Provide competitive intelligence and assist in market research to support business planning and product development• Identify and develop specifications for enhancements to the Sunlight Advantage Management System• Troubleshoot system issues with contractors’ staff and programmers• Develop custom pricing and proposals for non-profit power purchase agreements and work with credit and risk departments on all approvals • Maintain a close working relationship with department managers to ensure the interests of both customer and company are properly represented

Position Specifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field; MBA desired • Minimum of three years of experience in marketing or sales management • Knowledge of solar energy markets, economics and financing methods required• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with public speaking• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects on an on-going basis • Ability to work both independently and effectively with others• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent follow-through in all areas of responsibility• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
