This highly skilled individual will be responsible for supervising/performing work in energized substations while maintaining the reliability of the protective control systems. They will work with other professionals and technicians in a team environment on a variety of engineering projects, with a focus on substation and collector systemprotection and automation. Typical scope includes providing/updating protective relay settings, commissioning new protective systems, investigation and root cause analysis of substations events, substation integration and automation, substation control systems and modern microprocessor based equipment. The day-to-day activities have a wide degree of variety involving multiple projects moving simultaneously. Travel will vary from 10% to 25%.
