The Avangrid Renewables Supply Chain Analyst- Ld/Sr is responsible for the demand forecasting, supply planning and purchase order placement for materials required to support Avangrid’s US Commercial Operations at over 50 plants with a capacity of 5+ GW and growing. In this role the Senior Supply Chain Analyst will utilize the EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) system and other tools to initiate purchase orders and follow them through their life cycle to optimize inventory levels of materials. Responsibilities Include:

Monitoring and tracking of open purchase orders with suppliers and coordination with internal customers. Managing suppliers in relation to operational KPI’s Resolving delivery quality or performance issues with suppliers. Processing of return materials. Resolving invoice issues with suppliers. Collaborate with internal customers and suppliers to improve supplier performance. Make recommendations to update forecasting models based on operating experience to optimize inventory
Updating of re-order points and quantities when required.. Support warehouse audits following Company Policy to ensure inventory accuracy. Travel as required (15%)
Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain; or the equivalent combination of education and
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing and inventory functions. Experience in with ERP systems (preferably SAP), especially materials requirements planning (MRP). Understanding of supply chain for an operations group.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills to support customer requirements. Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.Proficiency with MS office.
Proven track record developing, maintaining and optimizing demand forecasting models Experience with wind plant construction, operations, and maintenance. APICS certification
