Job Summary:

The Medford operation seeks a Project Engineer to provide estimating and project management support for the construction and management of public and private heavy/civil and asphalt paving projects.

Project Management duties will include processing daily progress reports for field supervisors, preparing submittals, schedules and plans; assisting in the tracking of daily costs by analyzing data, providing reports and making adjustments as requested; assigning PO's, communicating with subcontractors, processing extra work billings and tracking, GPS modeling and analyzing truck haul data.

Estimating duties will include assisting with/and the preparation of estimates/bids/proposals by determining labor, equipment and material requirements; submitting completed bids/proposals in a timely and professional manner and providing analysis of material, staging, and equipment requirements of projects under construction.

Minimum Qualifications:

College degree in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study and 2 years estimating/project management support role exp. or related experience that includes the use of computerized estimating, quantity takeoff, and scheduling programs, tracking of daily labor costs and the effective utilization of owned and leased equipment.

  • Current driver's license and good driving record.
