Description

Job Profile:

Responsible for administrative support activities within the Estimating Department.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Review and prepare summaries/redlines for new bids including, but not limited to:

  • Nondisclosure Agreements

  • Master Service Agreements

  • Engineering Services

  • Remain in alignment with companies’ contracts principals

  • Remain within the scope of work described in outgoing Bid Proposals

  • Work closely with leaders in Safety, Operations, and Project Management to complete reviews of key contract terms, risks, and responsibilities, prior to the submission of final bids

  • Create and maintain Subcontractor database including all pro forma contracts and executed agreements

  • Check compliance with Subcontractor insurance requirements.

  • Travel to Pre-Bid, Post-Bid, and client meetings (2 days per mth)

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education and Certifications

Required:

Associate’s Degree or higher

Preferred:

Bachelors of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Experience

Required:

OMS is willing to train the right person.

Preferred:

Experience working in the construction industry.

Functional/Technical Competency

Required:

Strong organizational, computer, customer service and administrative skill sets.

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), ability to multi-task, and a good work ethic.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong time management skills

  • Self-starter and self-motivated
