About The Position

Ameren Services provides support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Nearly 1,400 employees serve the company with business planning, communications, diversity, financial support, human resources, information technology, legal counsel, safety and supply services.

This is a January – August or May - December Coop position or a May – August Internship in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications:

Current student with at least 60 college credit hours completed. Student must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent business or computer-related field from an accredited college or university required with a GPA of 2.5 or above.

The intern or coop will participate in meaningful work activities related to development, maintenance & support and enhancements to our application / software solutions. Intern/Coops are assigned a mentor that will guide you through your work experience at Ameren. Coaching and feedback are a key part of your intern/coop experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented, experienced IT staff while completing your work assignments.

You will get exposure to the following technologies:

• Programming & scripting languages (e.g. .NET, SQL, Java, C#, typescript, Java script, HTML, CSS, MVC, Angular, PowerShell and more)

• REST API design and coding

• Relational Database Management: Oracle, SQL Server

• AWS Cloud Products

• Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Eclipse, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Splunk, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Process: Agile, Scrum, Kanban

Mobile Development

Coops will participate in meaningful work activities related to development, maintenance & support and enhancements to our application / software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented, experienced IT staff while completing your work assignments.

• Agile and Scrum Methodologies

• Programming & scripting languages (e.g. Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Swift and more)

• REST API design and coding

• Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery pipeline for automated builds and deploys

• Microsoft Office 365 application suite
