As part of our program, you will rotate through the major areas within the CEO’s Office including AVANGRID Foundation. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, media & tech savvy, passionate, energetic, globally-oriented, socially-minded and enjoys taking on new challenges.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Within the CEO’s Office:
Participate in a dynamic development program with rotations through three major areas within the CEO’s Office – Networks and Innovation, Renewables and Sustainability, and the Finance and Corporate Area.
In the short-term, support the CEO’s Office through industry and regulatory analysis, competitor analysis, innovation and technology reports, and market analysis.
In the long-term, support the strategy and long-term growth of a best-in-class and innovative energy company.
Promote the global view of the energy sector and develop strategic relationships.
Work with the management team to develop your business skills.
Work in an innovative and energized environment with a chance to make an impact.
Create a comprehensive personal development plan to develop competencies critical to your and our success.
Within AVANGRID Foundation:
Cultivate the AVANGRID Foundation as an independent but integral part of AVANGRID’s evolving approach to corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy.
In the short-term, develop the systems, tools and policies to meet existing expectations and opportunities for corporate philanthropy that can evolve with AVANGRID and the industry.
In the long-term, be among the best-in-class in corporate philanthropy benchmarked against industry peers.

Key experiences in preparation of board presentations, CEO report, quarterly results presentations, key corporate reports (sustainability and innovation), competitor analysis, industry and regulatory analysis and other ad hoc reports to support the CEO’s Office.
Option to train abroad in the Office of the Chairman located in the Iberdrola Headquarters, Madrid, Spain.

Education & Experience Required:
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or similar field required; GPA ≥ 3.5; Masters/MBA Degree or JD preferred.
Less than 5 years of professional experience related to field through internships or other opportunities or leadership and/or volunteer experience or international experience (energy sector or finance desired).
