The Manager, Accounting is responsible for the percentage completion construction accounting for the small commercial/residential solar, battery storage and retail energy services lines of business and certain general accounting and financial reporting functions. This position will work closely with the F&A department, lines of business leaders as well as internal and external audit teams.

  • Responsible for the percentage-of-completion method accounting and reporting for the small commercial/residential solar, battery storage and retail energy services lines of business. Ensure construction projects are set up correctly in the Deltek construction accounting system, including PO’s, contracted revenue and estimated costs to complete. Review of construction progress including third party payments and billings to ensure they are accurately recorded throughout the construction period.

  • Responsible for certain general accounting functions such as revenue, cost of goods sold, equity investments, accounts receivable, lease accounting, prepaid, intercompany activity, debt, intangible assets, accruals, asset acquisitions and divestitures.

  • Meet with small commercial/residential solar, battery storage and retail energy services business leads to review financial results, current/future projects and accounts receivable.

  • Ensure compliance with controls and procedures, including being the point person for internal and external audits for projects accounted for under the percentage of completion accounting methodology.

  • Prepare internal financial and management reports for Senior Management, Internal and External Auditors and others as needed.

  • Responsible for the migration from Deltek/PeopleSoft to Oracle for all aspects of mapping, reconciliation/testing as well as other areas as assigned.


• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.

• CPA is preferred but not required.


• Six to twelve years of relevant financial and business experience is required.

• Experience in the construction and or energy industry is preferred but not required.

• Construction accounting experience preferred but not required.

• Experience with PeopleSoft, Deltek or another construction accounting software preferred but not required.


• Must have good analytical skills.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form.

• Able to interact effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals and meet deadlines.

• High energy level and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.

• MS Office computer skills are required.
