About Transmission and Distribution
Southern California Edison’s (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organizational Unit (T & D) is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating, and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities throughout the 50,000-square-mile territory. T&D is the steward of roughly $19 billion in assets that safely and reliably deliver electricity to 14 million residents via SCE’s 5 million customer accounts.
The Performance and Resource Analyst will report to the Performance and Resource Supervisor and will be responsible for tracking and analyzing data through the work order process regarding date compliance, process adherence, and documentation quality in support of various departments within the Tulare District, one of the largest districts at SCE.
Inputting data into various spreadsheets.
Processing Meter Service Requests.
Reviewing emergent repair orders; analyzing data; tracking and trending performance.
Checking in and closing work orders for field crews in ClickSchedule.
Creating, updating, and closing notifications in SAP.
Generating reports to monitor district performance in various aspects.
Working closely and communicating effectively with other district departments.
Supporting storm restoration efforts.
Supporting other analysts (in their absence).
Perform other duties as directed.
At least one year of experience working in an analytical position.
At least one year of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts and graphing.
At least one year of experience gathering, documenting, analyzing and drawing conclusions on complex data/information and making recommendations.
Knowledge of SCE specific programs such as ClickSchedule and SAP.
Two or more years of experience creating reports to communicate data and analysis.
Experience planning, organizing and coordinating tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and meeting assigned deadlines.
Teamwork-focused with ability to understand and appropriately respond to other departments’ requests.
Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to adapt and thrive by learning new skills and processes
Ability to think critically with an eye for efficiency and continuous improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
