Responsible for championing the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation phases of the Security Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) Methodology. Will analyze changes to the security program to identify training needs; design learning objectives and test items to build training materials from; develop new or revise training materials; provide instruction in all settings (classroom, shooting range, and on-the-job); and will solicit and provide feedback to drive training program excellence.
Implements training by providing instruction in all settings (i.e. classroom, range, on-the-job, online, etc.)
Develops training materials (i.e. lesson plans, exams, OJT/TPE guides) to meet identified program learning objectives.
Solicits and provides feedback to improve program performance, and participates in regular Curriculum Review Committee meetings and program self assessments.
Conducts needs, job, and task analyses of identified changes to the security program to ensure training needs are identified and met in accordance with SAT requirements.
Designs learning objectives and test items from which training materials will be built.
Provides Lead Controller/Lead Adversary Controller functions for Security Drill and Exercise program to include scenario development, briefings, drill command and control, and completing required drill documentation.
Must be able to pass Xcel Energy Nuclear background and screening requirements.
Must be able to meet physical, psychological, mental, and training requirements of 10CFR73, Appendix "B", and the NMC/Xcel Training and Qualification Plan.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a minimum of three years Nuclear Security or Nuclear Systematic Approach to Training experience, with five years preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office required; experience with Learning Management System (LMS) and LXR*Test preferred.
