National Grid Analyst/Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst – Financial Performance Controls (Revenue Cycle Management) in Syracuse, New York
_About the Position_:
This role will track financial industry compliance activities across Revenue Cycle Management to maintain high levels of financial integrity, planning, recording and control. This role will also be responsible for driving performance, identifying industry best practices, delivering on efficiency projects. Work very closely with Controls and Excellence team, internal and external auditors, owners of BCP as well as understanding components of the risk register.
_Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):_
Provide support to the Financial Services control process by partnering with Revenue Cycle Management Leadership team and Controls Excellence Team (CET) to maintain and continually monitor financial risks associated with transactions and processes managed across Revenue Cycle Management
Review and train leadership on intent and purpose of financial compliance, both internal and financial industry standard including:FACTA, NACHA ,PCI , Escheatment, FCRA, FDCPA, KYC/AML, Credit Card Processing Regulations, Bankruptcy Compliance, PII
Analyze compliance and governance activities within Revenue Cycle Management including the Business Continuity Planning process, Risk register and the Certificate of Assurance process. .
Coordinate all audits across Revenue Cycle Management, including Internal Audits, CET (SOX), External Financial Audits, Regulatory (rate case) Reviews, etc..
_Knowledge & Experience Required:_
Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting CPA / MBA preferred
Prior auditing experience.
Experience in developing and analyzing controls
Understands the importance of processes, procedures and standards of working and demonstrates the ability to give directions or demonstrations with clear reasons and rationales.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly and is effective in all manner of presentation settings (i.e. one to one, groups, peers and leadership).
Ability to build and sustain productive and collaborative relationships.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant financial legislation, standards, principals, management systems and risks including:
o FACTA, NACHA ,PCI , Escheatment, FCRA, FDCPA, KYC/AML, Credit Card Processing Regulations, Bankruptcy Compliance, PII
Experience of defining, documenting and challenging financial controls and ensuring appropriate use and implementation of processes.
A credible financial professional, the role holder must be capable of providing authoritative judgment and advice to contentious and complex accounting issues, change management and techniques, and conflict resolution.
