How can you benefit EnergyUnited? In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the adequate and orderly supply of materials in the warehouse to meet the construction, maintenance, and operational needs of the cooperative.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform annual and spot inventories of materials

  • Proactively maintain warehouse buildings, grounds and work areas to be conducive of an efficient and safe work environment.

  • Purchase non-inventory items as necessary to complete cooperative projects.

  • Organize and maintain the cooperatives’ personal tool and rubber glove inventories.

  • Perform housekeeping along with minor facility maintenance and janitorial duties of the warehouse

  • Maintain summary of district activity as directed.Provide vacation coverage or assistance with major projects to warehouse person in other regions/locations.

  • Prepare and submit reports and information showing results achieved in assigned areas.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

To be Considered for the Position, you should have:

  • High School degree or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in inventory management is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge and experience with an electric utility, RUS electrical utility construction and work order procedures is strongly preferred.

  • A positive and open mind and demonstrated ownership toward the position responsibilities.

  • A demonstrated ability to be a self-starter.

  • Excellent customer service skills to work with the public in a pleasant and courteous manner.

  • High personal integrity and have a sense of accuracy toward record keeping.

  • Sound decision making skills from observations and ability to carry out instructions.

  • Availability for emergency work during all weather conditions.
