Washington Gas Light Co. Lead Partner, Learning & Development in Springfield, Virginia
In this role, you will work with members of the Talent Management and Development team and key business stakeholders to design, develop and implement leadership development programs and organization effectiveness initiatives to support the corporate strategy and improve leadership and organizational performance.
You will be responsible for:
Standing up and communicating Workday Learning Platform. Own the end to end processes for maintaining course and program information in learning systems (adding, updating, removing courses).
Troubleshooting and supporting team in addressing questions regarding data in learning systems.
Maintaining, updating and communicating virtual learning vendor (e.g., LinkedIn Learning) content
Facilitating and delivering new-hire onboarding and ongoing training for new hires
Identify, improve and/or developing resources and materials for training and development
Supporting development, delivery and measurement of leadership development programs
Delivering instruction in most effective modality, including face-to-face and virtual classroom to effectively transfer knowledge so our employees can successfully apply learned concepts to their assigned roles
Maintaining and developing content on various channels (internal company intranet pages, developmental planning sites, social learning/community sites) promoting learning and development
Analyzing and reporting course metrics for stakeholder reporting and annual planning.
Collaborating with training providers (e.g., COBE, A&D) on course descriptions and requirements; publishes course descriptions, pre-requisites and schedules to customer web sites and customer training databases.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in training and development, career management with knowledge of e-learning/distance learning design and authoring tools.
Excellent communication, presentation skills and experience using LMS systems, Microsoft Office proficiency, social media forums and tools knowledge
Demonstrated proficiency in operating computer software and hardware for data manipulation, analysis and presentation purposes.
Demonstrated knowledge in adult education theory, learning taxonomies, and skills hierarchies.
