We are currently seeking applicants for a Quality Assurance Program Manager in the Environmental, Health and Safety department of our Power Production division located in Springfield, MO. This position is responsible for development and implementation of the operational and EH&S audit/operational assessment, human performance improvement (HPI), incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) programs. This position will develop procedures and standards, conduct training, promote the implementation of standards and best practices for each program.

What You’ll Do in Your Role:

  • Provide guidance, direction and ownership for the operational assessment, HPI, incident management and RCA programs within the Power Production division.

  • Prepare and present formal written reports and presentations and offer recommendations for areas of improvement.

  • Provide training and support to staff to enable them to perform assessments, implement HPI tools and assign and complete RCA’s.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field or relevant Quality Assurance Program experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in an operating environment that included standards development, system controls, operational reviews and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and continuous improvement-based tools and techniques.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 30%.
