Job Description

To carry out electrical engineering assignments related to Generation Engineering. To perform engineering work in the areas below which requires broad technical and company knowledge as well as originality and judgment in the technical analysis and independent evaluation, selection and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

• Designs modifications or improvements to generating station electrical and control systems • Create, modify and review generation station drawings including one line diagrams, three line diagrams, protection and control schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, physical layouts, and construction details • Specify electrical equipment for procurement such as generators, transformers, switchgear, busbar, and cabling • Create maintenance procedures and analyze testing results for electrical equipment including generators, transformers, and switchgear • Perform electrical load and fault analysis to ensure the safe and reliable operations • Provide field engineering support during construction, commissioning and troubleshooting • Assist with operating procedure at project completion

Requirements

Requires advanced specialized knowledge or technical background represented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering a minimum of one year to two years of engineering work experience is required. Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
