Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for all of the Credit Union financial and operational reporting including preparing Financial statements, maintaining cash controls, administration, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable and managing office operations. Senior Financial Officer provides leadership and direction to staff in the manager’s absence.
RequirementsRequires a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience with financial statement preparation and/or documentation of internal controls, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit Union or banking operations and in accounting /booking. CPA and /or MBA is preferred. Must have knowledge of compliance and of state and federal laws relating to a financial institution. Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills Other combinations of education and/or experience maybe considered.
