Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

Assist with technical/analytical expertise and functional support in the area of Projects and Construction (P&C) processes and operational effectiveness. Interact, communicate and champion information transfer to maximize implementation of improvement opportunities. Lead and/or provide technical analysis for P&C projects and systems. This position will support the core functions of the performance and reporting team including Scorecard, key performance indicators update, P&C Strategic Initiatives, Utility Initiatives, local Diversity & Inclusion plans, and development and monitoring of trends and ad hoc analyses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, report, and provide stakeholders with accurate, reliable, and timely data and information

  • Develop strong client relationships at all levels within the Line of Business and Utility Company; interface with executive Leadership, process owners, and management to support, obtain, and act on feedback for all elements of the Scorecard and Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead Scorecard process for P&C, including annual target setting, annual definition update, defining new metrics, and monthly data intake and calculation validation

  • Assist with the quarterly and semi-annual P&C and Utility Strategic Initiatives update process

  • Work directly with the Senior Leadership Team and present monthly updates on key performance indicators

  • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by P&C management in an accurate, complete, and timely manner

  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities and support cross-functional project teams

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

  • BS/BA Degree or minimum of six years of professional experience

  • 2-4 years of demonstrated analytical ability, quantitative and presentation skills with experience addressing / presenting to leadership teams and external clients

  • Demonstrated strong personal computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, business sense and high energy

  • Demonstrated ability to work across departmental boundaries, on multiple tasks, and with a high level of precision

  • Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity

  • Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of Tableau, interactive data visualization software.
