As a Surveyor, your key responsibilities will be to assist in surveying land for the construction of tunnels. Critical for success are the abilities to problem solve and have excellent attention to detail. Ability to work both in a mountainous terrain as well as underground is important as well.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying Engineering, Surveying or Geomatics, 1-5 years of construction/heavy civil layout experience or a combination of both

  • Experience with AutoCAD and GPS Equipment

  • Understanding of GNSS processing; conventional observation reductions, and level reductions

  • Understanding of gyro-theodolites and underground surveying techniques

  • Understanding of Geodesy is beneficial

  • Knowledge of deformation (settlement) surveys

  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type of vehicles which may be driven and a valid driving record

  • Travel required, position will be project based and may require a relocation to the Sonora, CA area
