Position Summary

This position will report to the Supervisor of Contract Management. The contract administrator oversees contract safety compliance specifications. Manages multiple contracts. Audits invoices and completes contract close out processes. Develops functional expertise across multiple lines of business to support contract pricing strategies and technical review. May participation in contract escalation and resolution processes. Manages contracts and ensures contract compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Seven years of construction contract management and administration experience

Desired:

  • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

  • BS degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrates experience using databases

  • Basic office management skills

  • Strong time management skills

  • Strong oral communication skills

  • Understanding of construction terminology

  • Advanced knowledge of the contract management process.

  • Works independently with guidance on only the most complex projects. Understanding of construction terminology

  • Solves moderate to complex problems and takes broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.

  • May manage cross-functional projects or initiatives.

  • Works with management across functions to influence decisions.

  • May assign work cross-functionally to contract specialists or construction specialists.
