The Inspection Services II (Nuc) will be responsible for coordinating work activities and other work management responsibilities associated with program implementation. This includes inspection activities such as FAC, ISI, and Vessel Internals. Individual will interface with Central Engineering program owners to determine the scope of required inspection activities and will work with site planners by providing technical input for the planning and assembly of necessary work packages. Individual will work with the site scheduling department to ensure the examinations are properly scheduled for online and/or outage timeframes. Individual will interface with NDE personnel and provide status of both online and outage examination activities and coordinates with Maintenance Support, RP and outage management in support of inspection activities.
Interfacing with Central Engineering Program owners and Site Engineering to develop the next cycle inspection scope as well as the next five year look ahead.
Interfacing with work planners and schedulers supplying input regarding required support activities to ensure inspection activities are properly planned/scheduled and Maintenance Support for support activities such as scaffolds, insulation and pipe preparation.
Interface with RP to ensure the estimated dose is properly allocated and to ensure the dose goals are met during implementation of inspection activities,
Interfacing with site management to ensure all inspection activities are ready for implementation and budget goals are met.
Interface with NDE vendor personnel as needed to ensure inspection activities are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with the applicable requirements.
Manage contracts as required in accordance with fleet procedures.
Maintain NDE certifications and pursue additional certifications as needed to support the Fleet Inspection Services department.
Minimum education required of the position:
High School graduate or equivalent
Desired: AAS or BS Technical Degree
Minimum experience required of the position:
2 - 5+ years of work experience working at a Nuclear facility working with nondestructive testing and coordination of work activities
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position :
Be able to manage/coordinate inspection vendors in accordance with fleet procedures. Computer skills such as working with program databases or excel spreadsheets is required for this position

NDE certifications required for this position.
