Who We Are: The Customer Insights Team is part of the Customer Experience (CX) organization and is focused on building trust with our customers and ensuring that we create easy and understandable experiences for them. To be able to achieve this goal, we work with OUs across the company to operationalize customer feedback, drive short and long term improvements to the customer experience, and ensure that decisions and strategies are informed by the Voice of the Customer.
Who You Are : You are a driven, curious, and engaged insights professional who wants to influence change. You love working with data and are skilled at designing surveys and leveraging secondary research to create compelling presentations about SCE’s customers and what matters most to them. You thrive working in a team environment and translating complex business questions into research opportunities and making data driven recommendation.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Work cross functionally to design and execute surveys using SCE’s Vision Critical survey platform
Perform analysis on customer survey and operational data using a variety of tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS)
Pull data from disparate sources to identify customer pain points and improvement opportunities
Conduct literature reviews utilizing SCE’s secondary research subscriptions and open source reports
Develop visually compelling, narrative driven presentations about SCE’s customers that drive action taking
Qualifications
The essentials
Five (5) years of experience in the market research field, deploying, programming, and/or writing surveys
Experience translating complex data sets into clear and compelling written narratives and impactful PowerPoint presentations
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, SPSS, or SAS
Ability think out of the box, challenge the norm, use creative ideas to solve problems
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and managing multiple projects

The preferred
Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences or quantitative degree; or relevant experience
Masters in Market Research, Social Sciences, or Analytics
Advanced knowledge of Vision Critical survey platform
Experience writing custom SQL or SAS queries
