Southern California Edison’s (SCE’s) Customer Service Organizational Unit (CS) shares the responsibility to safely deliver reliable, affordable electricity to our customers. We support this effort by working to meet customer expectations. Customer Service is dedicated to operational excellence and innovative thinking through our workforce in our call center, field operations, billing and payment center, outage and demand-side management and other service offerings.
This position within the Customer Programs & Services (CP&S) under the Innovation, Development, & Controls (ID&C) group plays a crucial part in the support of SCE’s Distributed Energy Resource (DER) plan. CP&S is going through exciting times where the growth and importance of Energy Efficiency (EE), Demand Response (DR), Distributed Generation (DG), and Transportation Electrification (TE) programs are needed more now than ever, to meet California’s aggressive Green House Gas (GHG) reduction goals.
Coordinatecommunications to work collaboratively between SCE’s supply chainmanagement/indirect procurement department and the Solicitations andContracts (S&C) group to ensure a consistency in processes betweendepartments;
Reviewing andprocessing of CO’s and CWAs;
Continual updatesto the Purchase Order Manager (PO Man) system with most recent contractdocuments and info;
Managing theInvestor Owned Utilities (IOU) cofound agreements by reviewing agreementswith the law department, tracking signature processing, andfiling/maintaining records;
Developing,maintaining, and analyzing metrics for a comprehensive status report ofcontracts, co-funding agreements, CWAs, COs, and Diversity BusinessEnterprise (DBE) for cross-functional teams;
Providingtechnical writing to edit Statement of Works (SOWs), maintain/update thedepartment desktop procedures, as well the policies and procedures manual;
Updating andpresenting status report sheets and weekly Contract Activity Reports(CARs) to management;
Providingpresentations and training to program managers;
Assisting inplanning and performing contract analyses of third-party programs andprofessional service contracts;
Manage and provideupdates to S&C SharePoint site.
Performing other responsibilities and duties asassigned.
Bachelor's Degree in English,Communications, Law or Business, or related discipline.
Must have five (5) or more years ofexperience in contract management (statement of work, purchase orders, andconsultant work assignments)
Must have two (2) or more years ofexperience in vendor relations, contract development, and review of legalwriting.
Must have two (2) or more years ofexperience in data analysis.

Demonstrated experiencefacilitating meetings, developing and delivering presentations, anddiscussions with a variety of audiences and levels across theorganization;
Demonstrated proficiency with PCapplications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint,and the use of MS 365;
Must demonstrate the ability tointegrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services toenhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safetyappropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, andprovide exceptional service to internal and external customers;
Must demonstrate strong ethics,influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills,communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage incontinuous learning; and
Demonstratedability to follow SCE safety protocols and safe work practices.
Demonstrated experienceinterfacing and collaborating with peers, management, and otherdepartments;
Knowledge of SCE’s contracting policiesand procedures
Strong writing skills, communication,interpersonal and decision making skills.
