As the Senior Advisor, Diversity & Inclusion, you will report to the Principal Manager, Diversity & Inclusion. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work in collaboration with all HR Centers of excellence (COE’s), HR Business Partners, and other key partners (e.g., Corporate Communications, Legal, Regulatory & Public Affairs, etc.). You will assess needs, identify and recommend strategic solutions to advance D&I business deliverables and priorities, while applying professional expertise and judgment in tailoring methodologies and practices. You will lead long term and major impact D&I initiatives and projects that align to business priorities and objectives at both the enterprise and Organizational Unit (OU) levels and potentially may lead 1-2 direct reports in the future.

Day to day…

  • Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive D&I programs.

  • Lead strategic culture transformation, aligning key partners and knowledge of culture transformation for long-term, sustainable change.

  • spearhead the development, evaluation, and drive multiple projects and/or strategic D&I initiatives with major operational impact.

  • Establish and maintains project plans, timelines, achievements, leads communications, proactively identifies and addresses project risks and opportunities as well as determine alternative ways to achieve project/program goals in support of enterprise-wide D&I strategy.

  • Lead ad-hoc teams to present creative solutions to leadership.

  • Analyze complex data including trends and forecasts to design and deliver D&I programs, processes and procedures, and helps remove barriers to successful implementation and change management efforts.

  • Act as a key consultant and strategic partner for executives and senior management on D&I strategy, initiatives, and their integration into OU plans, talent planning, decision-making and operations, including the sourcing, selection, and development of diverse talent.

  • Provide vendor management for D&I department consultants, suppliers, and other external partners to support the design and implementation of strategic D&I programs and services.

  • Build and grow D&I brand internally and externally.

  • Fill in during Principal Manager’s absence as needed.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

You absolutely need to have…

  • 10 years of experience leading strategic initiatives including building positive relationships with all levels throughout the company.

  • Experience developing and leading D&I strategies and policy implementation in a corporate environment such as leading cultural change efforts around intersectionality, allyship, inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, cultural transformation, etc.

Other things that will set you up for success…

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or some combination of education and relevant experience

  • Master’s Degree in HR, Organizational Effectiveness, Sociology, Psychology, or closely related field or equivalent combination of training; educated in Emotional Intelligence and unconscious bias

  • 10 years of experience working within a D&I environment; D&I project/program management; forward-thinking experience in strategy implementation in D&I; Communications and marketing experience related to D&I functions or programs

  • PHR, SPHR, D&I certificates, career/life coaching certificates; proven cultural intelligence and cultural competence

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
