Southern California Edison’s (SCE’s) Customer Service Organizational Unit (CS) shares the responsibility to safely deliver reliable, affordable electricity to our customers. We support this effort by working to meet customer expectations. Customer Service is dedicated to operational excellence and innovative thinking through our workforce in our call center, field operations, billing and payment center, outage and demand-side management and other service offerings.
The Marketing and Digital Communications Project Manager will evolve how SCE markets programs and services to all business and residential customer segments. The successful candidate will deliver new approaches for marketing innovation, enhance the digital customer experience, maximize value of existing customers, and measure/ optimize SCE’s customer relationships.

Rates, programs and services that align with our customer’s energy lifestyle.
Promote adoption of new technologies such as electric vehicles, battery storage, smart home devices, etc.
Meet SCE business objectives and California Public Utility Commission’s mandated goals.
Help SCE meet our operational excellence commitments.
The candidate will accomplish this by leveraging multiple cross-functional teams comprised of members from across SCE as well as external partners, vendors and stakeholders. Working in collaboration with Product / Program owners, the candidate will typically manage a budget of approximately $10-20MM and is responsible for all aspects of campaign development, measurement and execution of SCE’s marketing, digital and customer lifecycle nurture programs. It is expected for the candidate to work both at a strategic and tactical level, placing a strong focus on innovation, technology enablement and performance. Moreover, this role will require a heavy bias towards the application of marketing automation (Martech), data literacy and project management.
The Customer Experience Marketing and Digital group operates as an internal agency, within SCE, working closely with Product / Program owners and other stakeholder Clients to:
Develop strategic marketing plans for SCE’s programs and services.
Develop and execute targeted customer acquisition marketing campaigns for general and ethnic markets across all programs and services, including automated offer management and vertical campaigns that are driven by advanced analytics and data modeling.
Build marketing performance measurements to monitor and report on effectiveness, leading to the continuous improvement of user experience and overall ROI.
Develop multi-channel go-to-market implementation plans that are grounded on strategic channel/media planning & execution.
Recommend and improve the digital customer experience to ensure customer adoption of programs and services. Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of digital programs is critical, including project management, design, build, test, deployment, reporting and optimization.
Develop and manage the project schedule for implementation plans.
Utilizes marketing automation to improve processes and productivity.
Works independently, understands the utility landscape and can work in a fast pace environment.
SCE partners with a variety of vendors and agency partners to execute marketing and digital programs. Thus, a key area of responsibility is to ensure the candidate has the soft and hard skills to effectively manage vendor relationships to execute on scope, schedule and budget.
Candidate will also have a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in a highly regulated environment, including 3rd party advocates; thus, there is a need to balance diplomacy and assertiveness.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Communications or related discipline.
Seven or more years of experience in marketing strategy, direct response marketing, or database marketing.
Five or more years Project management in the Marketing or Advertising field.
Five or more years of experience Vendor management.
Two or more years of experience with the application of Martech (e.g. marketing automation) and data analytics.
Regulatory and utility experience.
Strong interpersonal and soft skills with proven record of effective collaboration and cross-functional alignment:

Experience communicating to a wide group of stakeholders in written communication
Experience communicating/speaking to all levels of an organization
Experience developing and making presentations for internal and external audiences
Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
The primary work location for this position is Rosemead, CA; however, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at alternate work locations.
