In this job, you will work with environmental Subject Matter Experts to lead the extraction, management, and interpretation of compliance data to support the continuous improvement of SCE’s environmental management system.

  • Manages the development, implementation, and routine improvement of dashboards

  • Monitor the quality of data sets and flag issues for follow-up and resolution

  • Conducts trend analysis to identify changes in use, quality, and compliance

  • Prepares executive presentations to communicate results of analysis

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Work and manage the daily aspects of analyzing, monitoring /tracking, and reporting all environmental compliance data.

  • Gather, document, and analyze data/information from various platforms including, ; SAP, Survey123, SuccessFactors, MS Suite programs, and SaaS vendors.

  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics dashboards, scorecards and reports using multiple data sources (Survey123, SAP, Excel, etc.) and visualization tools, (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Support and maintain existing data calculation and preparation methods and develop new methods to adapt to program needs using SAS, SQL, or other programming languages and analytical software

  • Seeks and identifies innovative ways to do work, utilize resources effectively, improve efficiency and effectiveness of the environmental management system.

  • Supports occasional cross-functional projects in support of operational and critical initiatives to improve performance and streamline work practices.


The essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field

  • Seven or more years of data analytics experience

  • Three or more years of experience using programming languages or analytical software for data analysis

  • One or more years of experience using data visualization tools

The preferred

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field

  • Programming skills in R, Python, or SAS

  • Experience preparing findings and presenting complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, or other visualization tools

  • Experience performing in-depth analysis and developing recommendation to address customer and business issues.

  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise wide ERP system

  • Experience with Survey123 platform
