The Digital Development Senior Manager will manage product software development and implementation. In this role, you will manage a multi-disciplinary teams of software developers and test engineers. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams (management, mobile, automation, and API developers, UX designers, test engineers, operations engineers, scrum, product and business leaders) to lead development initiatives for the Digital Accelerator. You are a strong, hands-on technical leader, an independent, critical and analytic thinker, have superb communication skills and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands.

The Digital Development Senior Manager possesses a broad base of skills and knowledge across digital technologies and be a technical leader with a proven track record of building and leading teams. You will balance high priority projects against executing on a long term vision. You will be security-conscious and continually analyze software to safeguard against potential threats. Your ultimate success hinges on your ability to collaborate closely with your peers while influencing decision makers. The Digital Development Senior Manager will:
Manage a multi-disciplinary software development team (including full time employees and contractors).Provide regular feedback and coaching regarding both job performance and career development.
Lead the development and release of multiple products across the Digital Accelerator utilizing Scrum Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
Provide guidance to developers and other groups in identifying product and technical requirements, contributing to functional strategy development.
Ensure partnership, through collaboration, between development and product, UX, and other teams.
Partner with other discipline leaders across IT (legacy support, cyber, integration, etc.) to ensure teams follow SDLC processes and standard methodologies, enabling successful execution against the Digital Accelerator vision.
Drive strategy in collaboration with Digital Architecture and lead the future development of various products and services across multiple platforms.
Lead the evaluation of new and existing development by ensuring customer feedback and standard methodologies are used to evolve and improve.
Provide direction to keeps teams aligned and on track, without stifling alternate views or neglecting the need to adjust course.

Qualifications you need …
Five (5) years of managing/supervising technical resources or organization.
Database development and modeling experience in SQL and/or NoSQL architectures.
Experience in Web-based integration protocols (e.g. REST, JSON, SOAP, WS*, etc)
Experience with DevOps concepts (e.g. CI/CD), tools and technologies (GitHub, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, etc).
Experience with Agile product development methodologies working on Scrum teams.
Deep understanding of application architecture, cloud architectures, integration architecture, and security design patterns and standard methodologies.
Prior working knowledge and understanding of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, iPaaS, mBaaS, and DaaS. Understanding of legacy architectures such as mainframe, midrange, com+, etc., and how to integrate with them.
Other stuff you should also have …
Graduate Degree in Business, Leadership, or relevant technical discipline.
Ten (10) years of hands-On experience in software development and delivery experience.
Experience in Energy and Utilities Industry is a plus.

Working knowledge of Design Thinking methodology.
Ability to think strategically and creatively.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
