Job Summary

Process Assistant IV - This role performs the highest level of general clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Performs a wide variety of specialized and complex clerical functions in the transaction of part(s) of a business process. Answers questions or provides information related to business process or function. Work requires analysis, discretion and detailed, in depth knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the specialized processing of information, documents or materials to include: completing and verifying documents; identifying and resolving problems; selecting and compiling data; performing calculations to translate data and information into required results and investigating and providing routine explanations for variations from generally expected results. May work with one or several related processes. Completes special assignments and projects. Utilizes computer systems and/or related equipment to record, enter, store and retrieve information. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with various administrative and professional employees within and outside the company. Identifies process improvement opportunities. May provide guidance and assistance for incumbents with less experience.

Process Assistant III - This role performs a full range of moderately complex clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Accountable for transaction of part(s) of a business process. Performs comprehensive reporting and diverse clerical functions by applying overall knowledge of sources requiring and understanding of interrelationship of report components and use of data or methods that are varied and somewhat complex. Work requires analysis, judgment and detailed knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the specialized processing of information, documents or materials to include: selecting and compiling data; performing calculations to translate data and information into required results and investigating and providing routine explanations of variations from generally expected results. Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record and enter, store and retrieve information. Complies regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with variety of administrative and professional employees within the outside the company.

Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Process Assistant IV

  • 5 years related experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of company and department procedures associated with administration and management of business process or function.

  • May require certifications or special training.

  • Ability to prioritize work and exercise significant amount of discretion in performance of duties and responsibilities.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Excellent skills using spreadsheet, word processing, graphics and database applications and SAP.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.

  • Excellent personal computer skills.

Process Assisstant III

  • 2-4 years related experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of company and department procedures associated with business process or function.

  • Ability to prioritize work and exercise considerable discretion in performance of duties.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong skills using spreadsheet, word processing and graphics applications and SAP.

  • Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.

  • Strong personal computer skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Education Requirements

Required: High School Graduate , GED

Working Conditions

Office Work Environment 76 -100%
