Job Responsibilities:

Human Resources Coordinator

The DDS Companies has an immediate need for a Human Resources Coordinator. The position will located at our Corporate Headquarters in Rochester, NY and will perform duties associated with the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources Department.

This position will be required to perform the following functions:

• Help maintain all personnel paper and electronic (HRMS) files

• Ensure data accuracy between HRMS and payroll systems

• Assist in processing all new hire and rehire paperwork, including benefit elections

• Process criminal background checks with appropriate vendors

• Provide department with administrative support such as filing, answering phones, responding to employee inquiries and creating reports

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Skills and Experience

Required

• 1-2 years of experience supporting an HR Department

• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Must be able to effectively communicate with tact and diplomacy

• Must have the ability to plan for, track, prioritize and execute multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study

• Experience with HRMS systems

• Prior benefits administration experience
