There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
This position leads the cash forecasting and commercial paper activities for all Dominion companies. Daily activities include calculating cash needs by financing entity, engaging with commercial paper dealers, and trading to meet business needs. This position also develops and delivers the weekly cash forecast, which is relied upon for strategic planning purposes related to all of the company’s financing needs. In addition, this position will provide ad hoc analysis and support as required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Daily trading in the commercial paper markets
Independently determining appropriate offer price to attract sufficient trading interest while staying within budget guidance
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external traders
Recording and updating commercial paper activities in Excel and SAP
Regular engagement with business unit financial teams and Cash Management to develop a weekly cash forecast including variance reconciliation and analysis
Providing support to the periodic budget process
Frequent communication with business units and CFO Group leadership teams
Providing analytical support to Finance leadership
Ad hoc financial analysis
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Treasury Analyst : A minimum of 3+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).
Senior Treasury Analyst : A minimum of 5+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).
Additional KSA's include:
Requires experience in financial management/analysis and a basic understanding of accounting practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with Powerpoint and SAP preferred.
Experience with Bloomberg strongly preferred.
Trading experience strongly preferred.
Experience with financial modeling/forecasting and scenario analysis preferred
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
Utility and/or relevant industry experience preferred.
