Job Summary

This role in the Procurement Center of Excellence works closely with the Finance teams, in collaboration with Supply Chain Management and Business Unit partners, to support assess, track, and report the impact of savings initiatives on budgets. Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with category management, sourcing, business, unit, and finance teams to understand project charters, savings drivers, and budget/financial impacts.

  • Develop tools and business processes to support project charter initiative tracking and close loop budgeting.

  • Develop and provide training on financial tools and processes.

  • Coordinate data collection, maintenance, aggregation, and reporting.

  • Define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements, and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics.

  • Develop cost/allocation and cost/benefit programs and models to support the assessment and development savings initiatives.

  • Analyze, recommend, and develop data collection process improvements and continually assess opportunities for automation.

  • Perform varied analyses and other assigned responsibilities in the Procurement Center of Excellence associated with category management, compliance, supplier diversity, sustainability, innovation, and systems support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 5+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results.

  • Knowledge of financial management, accounting, and regulatory principles.

  • Demonstrated planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.

  • Large-scale data gathering/manipulation and complex spreadsheet development.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.

  • Effective analytical skills and ability to develop data-driven strategies.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and customer service skills.

  • Ability to influence.

  • Process oriented and focused on continuous improvement.

  • Decision making and issue resolution skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, and SAP BW and/or Cognos.

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance
