Senior Technology Auditor

With this role, we are expanding out Technology Auditing Team. As Senior Technology Auditor, you will work on the Internal Audit team to objectively and effectively conduct internal audits and consultations in support of the Internal Audit plan. The primary focus will be working collaboratively to develop, plan and execute risk-based technology audits and consults to assess company compliance with laws, regulations, policies and standards.

If you are someone that is client focused, likes to problem solve, works well collaboratively, and can adhere to deadlines and time-sensitive tasks, this may be the job for you. You will get to work closely with the Internal Audit team and consult with a lot of teams across PGE.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the planning and performance of IT focused governance, compliance and operational audits and consultations.

  • Support and coordinate IT focused control testing, including communicating results in a timely and collaborative manner.

  • Participate in the writing and presentation of clear, concise and progressive audit and consultation reports.

  • Participates in gathering and analyzing information for assessing companywide risks in development of the annual audit plan.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Knowledge of relevant IT standards and best practices (e.g., ISO, ITIL, COBIT, NIST)

  • Experience auditing IT control environments, security, general and application controls, including testing of applications, databases, operating systems, cloud and networks.

  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT general controls, and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Oracle controls desirable.

  • Skilled in interacting with a variety of technical and non-technical functions and negotiating and resolving differences.

  • Flexibility in adapting to schedules and nomenclature across PGE.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft programs.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, liberal arts or other related field or equivalent experience. Computer Science or Information Systems Administration degree is a plus. At least five years of IT audit and related experience with progression (i.e. complexity of roles or responsibilities assumed). Active CISA or equivalent a plus.
