With these ambitious goals in mind and our customers’ needs at our core, we are seeking a Senior Auditor to join the Internal Audit Services team who will develop, plan and execute risk-based audits and consult to assess company compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
This role interacts widely across the organization and will collaborate extensively with all levels to enhance audits and consult on best practices. Exceptional verbal and written skills are required in this role to work successfully and deliver critical goals.
Key Scope and areas of impact:
Performs the planning and fieldwork of basicto intermediateaudits and consultations through gathering and analyzing information, performing more complex research, reviewing the work of otherson the projectand efficiently and effectively documenting work in support of reporting.
Drafts clear, concise and progressive basicto intermediateaudit and consultation reports, making risk reduction and/or process improvement recommendations; participates in client updates on risk mitigation activities and reporting. Supports and participates in communicating conclusions to clients.
Designs effective and efficient control test plans and coordinates and performs control testing to enable management to assess the operating effectiveness of key controls. Documents and communicates results to management. Monitors progress to ensure timely remediation of deficiencies.
Gathers and analyzes information, utilizing key client contacts, for assessing companywide risks in development of the annual audit plan and ongoing reporting to company leadership and the Auditand RiskCommittee.
Performs a variety of individual and department administrative tasks and implements process improvement initiatives.
What you will bring to this role:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, liberal arts or other related field or equivalent experience.
Typicallyfive or more years in business, internal auditing, public accounting or related functions.
Professional licenses/certifications preferred and may be required within one year of obtaining position (CPA, CIA, CRMA, CFE,etc.).
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of financial, operational and/or other subspecialty auditing and consulting practices.
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of internal control over financial reporting frameworks and testing methods.
Intermediate knowledge of programs and systems used in department activities.
Intermediate knowledge of data analytic tools and techniques.
Intermediate knowledge of risk management principles.
Intermediate knowledge of PGE policies, procedures and plans.
