What we are doing:
PGE is working to decarbonize our own electricity supply and support the transition of the transportation sector from carbon intensive fossil fuels to a clean energy system. Decarbonizing the transportation sector requires that our customers have access to reliable and affordable charging solutions, however they choose to travel. PGE embraces our role as a key partner in our customers’ transition to electricity as a transportation fuel.
What you’ll do:
In this role as Transportation Electrification Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly motivated professionals in operationalizing and scaling our electric transportation product portfolio. Establish and lead transportation electrification team to drive customer value and drive growth in PGE’s business.
Drive executive and regulator engagement to align on mission, direction, and product pipeline.
Oversee the execution and evolution of strategic plan for customer engagement, regional opportunities, transportation offering portfolio, and industry partnerships
Work cross-functionally with policy, marketing, sales and product teams to maximize opportunities
Scale business by defining role definition, operational requirements and driving automation
Empower a team of highly motivated professionals to excel in new segments
Build and maintain PGE’s brand, establishing our position in the market
Identify areas for improvement and implement positive change
Define and lead partnering strategy with OEMs across America
Refine go-to-market model, as required
Manage technical, strategy, and operational teams to deliver customer outcomes while hitting business targets
What you’ve accomplished:
10+ years in leadership roles in technology, energy and/or services businesses, ideally transportation electrification, solar, demand response, energy efficiency or similar
7+ years’ experience in working with the Automotive, EV Charging, or Utility industry
Demonstrated knowledge of automotive industry dynamics and nomenclature
Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory environment, policy trends and processes
Experience communicating direction and results at Board of Directors and C-level
Experience creating data driven programs to drive company strategy
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience with data management and analysis
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
