Portland General Electric Corporate Compliance Coordinator in Portland, Oregon

The Compliance Coordinator administers multiple processes to ensure that the Corporate Compliance Organization meets its core obligations. The Compliance Coordinator implements two training programs across PGE, tracks activity at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, authorizes employee access to critical cyber systems, monitors communications for compliance with Standards of Conduct, and completes other logistical duties in support of the FERC Compliance and Corporate Compliance departments, including scheduling support as required.

Working with this collaborative group will give you an opportunity to learn all about various regulatory rules and proceedings.

The Compliance Coordinator on the FERC Team has a critical role in meeting our mandatory regulatory obligations. This position administers required trainings and the access termination process and tracks regulatory activity at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In addition, the Coordinator will provide critical logistical support to our Corporate Compliance team.

Support our journey by:

Administering SOC and CIP training programs, planning and coordinating annual companywide retraining, identifying new trainees, and enrolling them in PGE’s Electronic Learning

Management System

Tracking regulatory activity at FERC

Overseeing Access to Critical Cyber Systems, reviewing terminations and access to critical cyber systems and administering the access revocation process to ensure timely revocation of access for terminated personnel.

Reviewing and retaining joint communications between Merchant and Transmission

Administering software to track pending FERC and NERC proceedings and producing reports as needed

Administering Personnel Risk Assessment Process, reviewing database and ordering background checks through the service vendor website

Serving as the Department's resource for DevonWay, the corporate-wide compliance software tool

Scheduling department meetings

Supporting department purchasing and accounting activities, including placing orders and matching invoices to Purchase Orders

Providing logistical support to the Corporate Compliance group as required

Education/Experience

Requires a bachelor’s in any field or equivalent experience

The successful candidate should have five or more years in related field or equivalent education and experience.

Compensation Range:

$26.15 - $39.23

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
