General Purpose

Provide expertise in marketing and customer communications fields. Act as a resource to internal stakeholders and communications personnel and assist in the development, management, monitoring and tracking of communications tactics and programs, such as regulatory notices, customer bills inserts, brochures, newsletters, social media posts and email correspondence. Research, analyze, develop and implement process improvement measures in response to changing internal and external conditions. Develop and maintain operational and procedural documentation. Serve as brand advocate and ambassador across internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of communication tactics that enhance the achievement of PacifiCorp's strategic objectives and enhance the corporate reputation.

  • Assist in the development, management and monitoring of customer marketing and communications plans for internal clients.

  • Apply project management skills to facilitate the scheduling, development and timely delivery of regulatory customer communications. Follow process for review and approval that meets compliance requirements across multiple states.

  • Research and analyze information, determine context using discretion, and independently write, edit and produce print, social and digital customer communications.

  • Facilitate internal and external events, teleconferences, conferences, surveys and recognition projects.

  • Liaise with other departments in the company.

  • Facilitate informational meetings, logistics, scheduling, and materials preparations.

  • Counsel and provide communications advice to internal client organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Public Relations or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • A minimum of three years related experience preferably in a customer service industry.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and resolve internal and external customer issues which may be critical, sensitive, or urgent in nature.

  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team.

  • Knowledge of current marketing and communications technologies, tools, systems, and vendors to include: content management and publishing systems, such as Adobe Enterprise.

  • Social media proficiency to include writing, publishing and tracking posts on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

  • Understanding of applicable Company policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications.
