In this job, you’ll be part of the Billing, Collections & Cost Management team within Edison Carrier Solutions (ECS). ECS is a commercial business that provides wireless infrastructure and telecommunication services to carriers and large enterprises. You will support job costing, tracking, and reporting initiatives, develop innovative ways to help ECS select vendors with lowest cost but still retain quality workmanship, and act as key source for work order, material, and procurement management processes and procedures. This position will act as consultant to the department in creating project report and cost analysis performing comprehensive analysis, interpreting findings, drawing conclusion, and presenting recommendations to the ECS Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for decision making.

  • Develop and implement dashboard reporting for monitoring, tracking, and reporting procurement, material, and work order activities by vendors and work categories to senior leadership team

  • Act as the lead analyst and SME for project cost tracking and reporting including maintaining and improving existing project system model by utilizing SAP, BEx Analyzer, MS PowerBI, Cadebill, TBS, Salesforce, and other systems to generate reports, metrics, project tracker, and dashboard presentation.

  • Act as the lead analyst and SME for all ECS Work Order processes and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively withOutside Plant Constructions & Project Management, Engineering, Field Accounting Organization (FAO), and Plant Accounting to compile work order package and to ensure all appropriate documentations are in SAP System for capitalization, reporting, and analytical purposes.

  • Act as the SME and liaison between ECS and FAO and IT Fullerton to ensure efficient & effective material management.

  • Collaborate with ECS SLT, FAO and IT to ensure periodic inventory counts are being performed accurately and timely to prevent inventory obsolescence.

  • Act as the lead analyst, SME, and liaison between ECS and SCE Supply Chain to ensure that goods and services are delivered in a timely manner and meets business/operation needs.

  • Act as the lead analyst and SME or backup to lead Analyst supporting annual sales incentives and commission planning/refresh and work with HR, Payroll, and Sales teams to ensure that the monthly sales incentives are awarded/paid in a timely manner.

  • Perform monthly and quarterly GL reconciliations and may process journal entries as needed.

  • Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed in support of ECS operations.

Qualifications

The Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.

  • Five or more years’ project budget tracking and reporting in a supply chain or finance function.

  • One or more years’ experience withSAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

The Preferred

  • Experience with Ariba or another type of procurement system.

  • Proficient in MS office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and PowerBI.

  • Knowledge of accounting processes and software.

  • Knowledge of SAP Project System module.

  • Experience with Telecommunication services.

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication, written and oral, and presentation skills.

  • Experience preparing findings and presenting complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.

You should know

  • Effective January 2022, this position’s work mode is Hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
