About Transmission and Distribution
Southern California Edison’s (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organizational Unit (T & D) is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating, and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities throughout the 50,000-square-mile territory. T&D is the steward of roughly $19 billion in assets that safely and reliably deliver electricity to 14 million residents via SCE’s 5 million customer accounts.
The Manager will work with the Business Support staff to manage the SCE Pomona Innovation Village (PIV) Campus to ensure the needs of the SCE T&D employees are met. This includes but is not limited to site and office management duties, as well as overseeing administrative support functions. The Manager will also have oversight of T&D Portal, PIV catering, and T&D travel expenses. They will also work with various stakeholders to manage PIV needs such as Facilities, Corporate Philanthropy, Information Governance, and SCE Portal.
Responsibilities may include:
Work with the Business Support staff to manage the PIV Campus to ensure the needs of the SCE T&D employees are met
Ensure emergency action plans are in place
Correct any facility-based safety hazards
Support health and wellness programs at PIV
Lead PIV Safety Congress
Produce PIV Safety and Wellness Fair
Provide cost-efficient office supplies (bulk and special orders) for employees at PIV. Track cost expenditures
Manage PIV common areas (conference rooms, assembly room, lobby reservations, training room reservations)
Manage PIV catering contract and ensure prompt invoice payment
Coordinate with Operations Support on any maintenance issues for PIV
Manage PIV facility planning, and ensure PIV Space Requests are processed on time
Support coordination of Corporate Real Estate re-stack of employees
Manage facility-related communications
Ensure T&D Travel charges are reconciled within 30 days of receipt
Oversee T&D Employee Contributions, and ensure new policy guidelines are followed
Ensure compliance with Information Governance
Ensure Engineering &Technical Services Portal content is kept up-to-date
T&D Executive Event Support
5 years of experience managing, supervising, or leading cross functional teams
2 years of experience managing and coordinating senior leadership meetings
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline.
Knowledge of human resource policies, procedures and laws including disciplinary action, training and development, salary administration, talent acquisition and performance development.
Experience interfacing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and all levels of management
Ability to create and maintain a safety conscious work environment
