This newly created role will be part of the Change Management & Strategic Workforce Planning team. This team member will play a critical role in developing the Company’s organizational capacity and strategic workforce planning model. The purpose of this model is to help prioritize the work (business as usual, optimization efforts and new capability efforts) and create an integrated resource plan to ensure we have the appropriate number of resources at the appropriate time with the appropriate skills to perform the work.

While this role does not have supervisory responsibility, the successful candidate must have strong relationship building and influencing abilities. The role will collaborate with other strategic planning functions including financial planning & analysis, risk management, work management, and talent management to deliver results.

Roles and responsibilities

  1. Partner with the Strategy team in the development and use of a “Strategic Fit, Value Creation, Risk/Feasibility Model” in order to prioritize key initiatives to deliver on strategic priorities

  2. Streamline the annual business planning process by providing coordination between business, FP&A, Risk and Talent and help establish annual company goals

  3. Establish an integrated resource governance process

  4. Establish a headcount planning model that identifies the quantify of resources and skills required to deliver on the 5-year strategic business plan

  5. Develop resource loading heatmap to identify overleveraged employees on key initiatives

  6. Optimize resources at the Business Unit level by evaluating tasks to delegate further into the organization

  7. Partner with other strategic planning functions to provide periodic updates on performance to the Board of Directors and Employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in business or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in Strategic Planning, Workforce Analytics or related field

  • Experience building integrated resource plans through advanced analytics

  • Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity

  • Collaborative an inclusive approach to working

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
