Candidate must possess knowledge of Quality Assurance/DevOps Best Practices and Standards and be able to apply that knowledge. Evaluates and tests new or modified applications. Reviews new or modified applications including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts, to determine if program will perform according to user stories/requirements and conform to guidelines. May review application logs to identify program processing errors.
Develop test strategy in line with the solution
Develop and execute test cases/scripts in an agile environment, based on requirements/user stories
Create and manage test data
Triage defects and support in resolution
Report on test results
Create and manage all test data
Collaborate with other team members to deliver the product or product feature
Aid in regression suite development
Does not supervise others.
Roles at this level require industry specific experience. Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. With 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in customer facing applications/mobile
Strong knowledge of Agile/scrum methodologies
Working knowledge of SQL
Test case management tools like Microsoft Azure, Test Plans, ALM-Quality Center
Visual Studio Team Services
C# and/or python
Working in an Agile Environment
Set up frameworks and work on multiple application types (Web, API, Mobile and Desktop)
Build different test scenarios, acceptance criteria and test metrics
Look for opportunities to start testing earlier in the development life cycle Preferred:
Experience in Oracle Utility Suite

Primary focus is developing and executing test cases/scripts and triaging defects and supporting the developer to fix defects/configurations. Accountable for managing one’s own time and work flow. Responsibilities are generally tactical in nature and work is typically of moderate to complex in nature requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform role. Continues to build knowledge base but has a solid foundation to act independently the majority of the time. Still draws on experts and managers when needed but not frequently.
Navigates through ambiguity and change. Draws on significant past experience to perform the role. Proficient in the body of knowledge of given discipline or specialty area. Accountable for direct level of reasoning and decision making.
