The HR Services Representative II is an experienced professional with knowledge of and some experience of Human Resources related policies and interpretations of those policies. An HR Services Rep II serves as the first point of contact for all employee basic HR inquiries including, but not limited to, HR programs, policies, and practices. Provides basic and routine services, including conducting transactions, developing and maintaining information, data, tools, and systems. Ensures excellent, value-added customer service and enhances HR service levels by ensuring a great user-experience mindset. Uses critical thinking skills to provide accurate, consistent, and timely information. Transfers and escalates complex inquiries to the most qualified HR subject matter expert. This role fosters and maintains positive relationships and provides quality service by responding timely and accurately to employee inquiries and process requests, according to established standards with attention to style, tone, and manner of communication. Employee requests are received and monitored through the automated phone, email, or ticketing systems.

Conducts Workday system input, inquiries, as well as other centralized HR transactional processes
Research and resolve issues relevant to general HR activities.
Monitors AskHR email and address inquiries in support of various HR teams such as payroll, benefits, recruiting, training, and other related HR topics.
Perform routine audits of employee data for accuracy and compliance
Maintains employee files and records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
Ensure post-offer processes are completed and address any employment verification issues (pre-employment background check and drug testing, onboarding steps, I-9s and e-Verify process, dependent eligibility verification, etc.)
Communicate with candidates and direct activities as needed pertaining to required documents and outstanding background screen items.
Provide regular updates to HR Business Partners and Recruiters regarding candidate status and any potential delays to the hire process.
Prepare and review new hire processes for completeness, follows up on missing items, and completes data entry to Workday
Support on-boarding and hire processes and prepares for the candidate’s first day of work
Process education reimbursements, gym reimbursements, and other HR transactional tasks
Distribute all compliance materials including Federal and State Required Posters and Postings
Ensure EEI test lead responsibilities are administered as needed including conduct testing, collection of tests, and scoring of EEI tests
Administer the service award program
Monitor incoming changes submitted via Employee Self Service for accuracy and supporting documentation
Support termination process which includes the completion of the termination checklist with assistance from HR Business Partner
Conduct exit interviews and distribute and analyze exit questionnaire for resignations
Support HR Business Partners with issues related to discrepancies on background checks or drug tests
Manages off-boarding process for employee retirements and voluntary/involuntary terminations
Considers future implications beyond the immediate problem, and is not closely supervised
Works independently and receives limited guidance.
Plans and Aligns
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
3-5+ years of related experience
Knowledge of HR procedures and policies
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel required
Experience with HRMS Software (Workday preferred)
Strong communication and relationship building skills; demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
Strong knowledge of human resources policies and ability to gain an understanding of benefit plans.
