Underground Construction FOMS Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

JOB SUMMARY

FOMS Analyst provides administration support to the department and field operations. Works cohesively with the AutoCad Specialist and accounting to provide a seamless document control system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Incumbent must have the skills, ability, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Process and enter Natural Gas work orders into the customer portal, which include material usage, installed footages, signature verifications, etc

  • Maintain a good filling system for ongoing projects

  • Provides a secondary check to verify measurements to As-Built team

  • Manages adequate workflow to meet internal deadlines

  • Meets with or update management on the project status.

  • Assist supervisor with data reporting, and work on special customer requests

  • Ability to work multiple projects at the same time and meet all deadlines.

  • Comply with all safety requirements- reinforce all internal and external safety practices and policies.

  • Understanding of Internal and Customer expectations as necessary to meet both, customer, and internal specifications.

  • Understanding of local, county, state permits requirements (e.g., Encroachment, Right of Way, easement, centerlines etc.).

    KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical (quantitative and/or qualitative) skills with ability to perform analysis and identify solutions to issues

  • Excellent data entry skills with minimal entry errors

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Data Base savvy

  • Knowledgeable with Natural Gas Field Manager, FieldSmart and FOMS is preferred

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Ability to understand customer’s goals as well as critical business processes and rules to design solutions

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
