The position researches, analyzes, and reports on business, market, and product information. The Analyst will discover and assess market and telecommunications data, generating strategies and reports with a focus on increasing company’s revenue. Positon shall use Excel and other software tools.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
Perform data and financial analysis, mapping, and product/market research
Compiling, managing, manipulating, and analyzing data
Research, develop strategies and respond to grants, government applications and potential partnerships
Collaborate and build strong relationships with DQE departments and external data sources
Research, analyze and provide recommendations for growth with a focus on identifying unaddressed market opportunities
Investigate the fiber optic telecommunication market in order to provide recommendations for business strategies
Discover, contact and recommend data sources and sales intelligence tools
Train sales team on use of sales intelligence tools
Define targeted prospects for customer demand and lead generation programs
Report on customer demand and lead generation programs
Monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes
Manage multiple projects
Other duties as assigned Educational/Experience Requirements Roles at this level typically require a Bachelor of Science degree preferably in an analytical field such as finance, accounting, business, or economics. Min 3+ years of experience is required. Skills/Abilities Must be a self-starter, innovative, and detail oriented. Solid written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Excel, reporting, and PowerPoint. Mapping software, database software, telecommunications experience, and CRM experience preferred.
