Position Specific Description An Engineer-I should have extensive knowledge of our distribution system, equipment, vaults, data base, switching, mapping system, access, restoration, and reliability. Engineer should be able to respond and assist to any customer requests (regular and late appointments, service upgrades, OH/UG conversions, easement agreements and subordinations, etc.). Engineer should be able to respond to customer complaints and find resolutions before it gets elevated. Must be able to perform thorough research and provide analytical, good engineering analysis before designing any jobs. Should be able to collaborate with all engineers, be proactive and more than willing to take on various assignments.

Job Overview

This job is responsible for applying diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. Employees in this role evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects. This position conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Works on all aspects of engineering design and permitting • Acts as a single point of contact for mid-level complexity projects for the department • Tracks and reports on performance • Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization • Prepares communications and presentations, and conducts meetings • Meets attendance and storm duty requirements • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) • High School Grad / GED • Bachelor's - Engineering • Experience:3+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (PE) • Six Sigma Black Belt Certified • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified • Master's Degree • Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified • Six Sigma Master Black Belt
