Purpose

Responsible for prioritizing SAP Support Team responsibilities related

to providing design, configuration and ad hoc/custom reporting capabilities to the business units. Serves as primary contact with Mobility end users and process owners in a specified business area to understand ongoing process requirements (changes, modifications, improvements) and ensuing overall SAP data integrity for a specified business unit.

Responsibilities

  1. Understanding of software development lifecycle.

  2. Develops solutions and/or configuration changes to meet ongoing end

user requirements. Implements configuration changes as required and

prepares specifications for approved changes.

  1. Acts as team leader for SAP Support Analysts. Leads prioritization

and planning of SAP Support Team responsibilities in a specific

functional area.

  1. Leads team of SAP functional analysts to coordinate integration

points between SAP modules to ensure overall process coordination.

Ensures interface data integrity. Working with the ABAP team.

  1. Maps cross-system applications and process flow of given applications.

  2. Provides timely and accurate solutions to the functional business

areas, including unresolved mobility requests from the service desk.

  1. Develops, maintains, and updates documentation including Business

Process Procedures (BPPs), reference materials, training materials.

  1. Provides on-going end user training and end user support as

required.

  1. Reviews and assesses architecture design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment needs as identified by the project requirements.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information

Systems or a related field. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Able to work with others to design and support effective process/system

solutions.

Experience/Training:

  • At least 5 years of IT experience, including software designing, maintenance, testing, and support experience.

  • Experience with programming is highly desirable.

  • Experience with database systems preferred.

  • Experience with software debugging preferred.

  • Experience integrating multiple software systems preferred.

  • Broad knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of SAP Plant Maintenance module.
